Out of all the unlikely actor duos to work together, Will Ferrell and Jason Momoa would certainly be on the higher end of that spectrum.  But here we are with word that Anchorman and Aquaman are teaming up for an as-yet-untitled comedy from the creators of Rob Lowe’s short-lived (but critically acclaimed) TV comedy The Grinder.

Not much is known about the film other than that Ferrell will play a washed-up  TV star who reunites with his now grown-up, and very successful, TV star son – set to be played by Momoa.  Ferrell’s own production company Gary Sanchez Productions and Forgetting Sarah Marshall director Nicholas Stoller will take producing duties.

Until this potentially awesome comedy comes our way, individual fixes for both Ferrell and Momoa can be satisfied with the former appearing opposite Amy Poehler in the home-casino comedy The House, set for release mid-year, and the latter donning his underwater finest for Justice League in November.
